Hardcore Superstar - Monster Energy Stage (4/5)
Hardcore Superstar are playing everywhere right now and I really dunno what to write that hasn’t already been written.
They always put on a great, energetic show and I have never seen them make a bad one., and this wasn’t an exception. From the opening track ”Sadistic Girls” to the closing ”We Don’t Celebrate Sundays” there was never a dull moment.
Only the acoustic ”Here Comes That Sick Bitch” gave us a little breather, but what a good one. Lead singer and frontman Jocke Berg is everywhere, running round like a Mick Jagger with ADHD, making guitarst Vic Zino follow in his footsteps, acting all madman as well. You can tell that after a few years, Zino is very comfortable within the band and is no longer ”the new guy”. Besides, the
guy is a true guitar hero if there ever was one. Drummer Adde wears his Tommy Lee complex on his sleeve, but the fact is the guy is an excellent drummer and one hell of a showman, really entertaining to watch.
Bassman Martin Sandvik is all smiles, as usual, walking around like a cozy uncle, keeping his rhythm steady as a rock. In my book, this band can do no wrong right now and with the best album of their career under their belts this band are easily one of the most entertaining things you could set your eyes on at a stage right now.
Go see them, they will blow you away.
