A bit about myself....
My name is Jocke Ljungh, a 37 year old dude who enjoys the sun, smiles, my girl, gubbrock, painting and reading. I probably have the best taste in music any person ever had, and few people doubt that. The ones who do are wrong.
I work as a graphic designer and mostly make DVD-covers but have made a couple of CD- and book-covers as well. I don’t like dogs, Volbeat, filmjölk and winter. Snoogans!

So what do you do for work?
I work as a graphic designer where I mostly create covers for DVD- and Bluray-movies, but also posters, ads and other stuff that are linked to the movies
Are you working on anything interesting at the moment?
There are always loads of movie covers passing through the company, but at the moment I’m working on a cover for a special release of the swedish movie success “Arn”, a couple of Wallander covers and a box for an Astrid Lindgren collection.
What are your favorite / worst aspect(s) of your job?
The best part is that the products are fun and interesting. I have a personal interest in many of the covers I make, which does make the whole creative process more motivating for me. The least good part is that we often have too much to do which makes it hard to work as much as you’d like to on some covers. The time is too short and the next cover is waiting to be made.
If you weren’t doing what you are now, what other job would you be doing?
I’d always dreamed of becoming a writer or maybe a teacher, but I wouldn’t mind being a full time slacker.
If you could travel to any part of the world, where would you go and why?
New Zealand I guess. It’s as far as you can go and it seems warm there
When not working what do you do for entertainment, relax?
I paint a lot, or read. I also hang out with my girlfriend or at the local pub for a few pints with friends.
If you could choose to have dinner with anyone alive or dead, who would it be and why?
Probably Jim Morrison so I finally could make up my own opinion about him.
What are your plans for the Summer?
I’ve been to two festivals (Sweden Rock and Peace & Love) and the next plan is to go to Fårö, Gotland for two weeks and just relax. After that I’ll just chill in Stockholm for a few weeks.
Have you been to any festivals this year so far – if so which one(s)?
See previous answer.
How did this year compare with previous years?
Sweden Rock was unfortunately the least good year musically for my taste and I didn’t have that many bands I wanted to see. The weather sucked as well, but we had a really good time anyway. We always do with my crowd.
Peace & Love was my first time but it was the best festival ever I’ve been to musically. The bookings were so totally awesome I sometimes thought I dreamed. Top notch!
