NEWS - 25th November - METALLICA, MACHINE HEAD AND SLAYER TO HEADLINE NOVA ROCK 2012
Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Black Album METALLICA will play the whole album plus a selection of other hits

Organisers have revealed the first acts for 2012, check them out – Slayer, Machine Head, Within Temptation, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Dimmu Borgir, Killswitch Engage, Opeth, Trivium, Hatebreed, Lagwagon, August Burns Red, DevilDriver, The Answer, The Baseballs, Schandmaul, and Oomph!.

Nova Rock takes place from the 8th – 10th June 2012 in Austria

The History of Nova Rock Festival

Nova Rock Festival was launched in 2005 in Austria and offers music fans three days of unadulterated hard rock across two stages and a dedicated ‘Partyzone’.

The festival has a history of booking big name bands. Metallica, Motorhead, Judas Priest and Slipknot have all made appearances in the event’s six year existence.

Away from the music, festival goers can chill out at a nearby lakeside beach with a shuttle bus service between the two locations.
