HISTORY OF SOUTHPRT ROCKS FESTIVAL
Southport Rocks (Formerly ‘The Jedi Music Festival’) was created following the tragic and sudden death of Chris Haw. A very popular local young man who was studying for a management degree at Edge Hill University and someone who simply adored his festival music.
This festival is a tribute to him, to Raise Awareness of the syndrome which took his life at the tender age of 25 to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) and also to raise Funds for The Vital Sounds Foundation (VSF) ‘Southport Rocks’ is a wholly independent event which is returning for its fourth year now due to popular demand. And will be the largest camping & glamping weekend music festival in the North West!
It will be staged outdoors at the incredible Victoria Park, delivering a unique feast of music set on a tranquil and beautiful site offering entertainment unlike any other festival this side of England
