Organisers have announced today that HAMMERFALL will be joining this year's sold out Sonisphere festival in Sweden!

NEWSFLASH - HEAVEN & HELL CANCEL THEIR SONISPHERE SWEDEN APPEARANCE

The band have issued the following statement, "We have to announce that all forthcoming Heaven & Hell European shows have been cancelled as sadly Ronnie isn't well enough to tour this summer. We hope that everyone understands and want to thank fans and industry colleagues for their continuing support at this time."

NEWS - 9th December - IRON MAIDEN to Headline Sonisphere Sweden 2010
After a highly successful first year in Hultsfred the Sonisphere festival returns to Sweden in 2010 with a huge Headlining band and new location at Stora Skuggan in Stockholm!

IRON MAIDEN, MÖTLEY CRÜE, HEAVEN & HELL, IGGY & THE STOOGES, SLAYER, ANTHRAX och ALICE COOPER. Japp ni läste rätt, det är inget fel på era ögon. Samtliga dessa megarockband kommer till Stora Skuggan i Stockholm och Sonisphere festival den 7 augusti nästa år. Detta kommer krossa allt annat du tänkte göra nästa sommar. Sommar-Sverige känn på den.

Självklart tillkommer det fler band. Biljetterna släpps den 14 december kl 10.00

HISTORY

The Sonisphere Festival is a series of summer music festivals which took place across Europe in June 2009. The festival is owned and promoted by Kilimanjaro Live with financial backing from AEG

The first Swedish edition of the Sonisphere Festival took place on Saturday July 18, 2009 at Folkets Park, Hultsfred with headliners Metallica and Adept, Cradle of Filth, Dead by April, Primal Scream, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Meshuggah, Machine Head, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Cult and The Hives

GETTING TO SONISPHERE FESTIVAL AT STORA SKUGGAN IN STOCKHOLM

The festival is held in the Big Shadow at Frascati / University of Stockholm ( Great Skuggans road 22 ). To get there by subway use the red line and get off at the University stop.

From the station it is a 10 minute walk through and past the Allhuset and Gula Villan.

There is no parking nearby, so it's recommended that you don't bring your car.
