News - 6th Febraury - LOSTPROPHETS HEADING TO HOVE THIS SUMMER!
Now do you think maybe it has scribbled for us, but think again. We just tuned Welsh spring, in honor of the first band out this week: Lostprophets. Many of you have wanted and asked for this band since 2007, so it is with great pleasure that we can publish the finest rock band Wales has to offer right now.

Ever since its inception in 2000, Lostprophets have been considered as one of the most important hard rock groups in England, and has sold a total of over 4 million records worldwide. They have topped the album charts in Britain, won a whole bunch of Kerrang Awards and toured the world countless times with other bands such as Deftones and Linkin Park. Alternative rock, alternative metal, post-hardcore, nu metal. A pet band that has known many genres, and Lostprophets music you can really hear the band's various influences. From punk and heavy metal, aggressive rock and almost catchy poprefrenger. Did you like Linkin Park at Hove last year, you will melt when you hear these guys live.

In April, Lostprophets release their fifth album, Weapons, described as its so far very, very best. The first single "Better Off Dead" (which you can hear here) was the BBC described as "the hottest record in the world" and is like a shot of the cardboard. Believe us, Lost Prophet's going to take off at Hove this summer!

News - 2nd February - ED SHEERAN JOINS HOVE FESTIVAL LINE UP!
As a comet appeared Ed Sheeran on pop-star sky, with its straight forward pretty acoustic pop, full of nerve and presence.  2011 will always to be remembered as the year when Ed Sheeran broke through for the full pitchers. With the album + and songs like "The A Team," "You Need Me" and "Lego House" he reigned on charts around the world, but do not believe for a moment that this is easily bought success. Since 2005, the now 21-year-old Ed worked as a brand to spread its unique musical talent. In 2009 he played 319 concerts alone!

HOW TO GET THERE

If you're travelling by plane, you're most likely to land at an airport which is located in a place called Gardermoen, outside of Oslo. However, there are two other airports much closer to Arendal. One is called Kjevik, and is located outside the city of Kristiansand, and the other is Torp, located outside a city called Sandefjord. If you can get to either of these two airports you'll save some money, a lot of time and maybe even spare the environment some unwanted CO2. Kjevik Aiport is the nearest airport.Buses and trains go direct from all three airports to Arendal city.

If you can get yourself to Oslo Central Station and jump on a train to the city of Arendal. After a few hours, get off and jump on the bus to Trømoya. There will be a Hove Festival info stand, both at the train station and the bus station, to point you in the right direction. The bus from Arendal will take you all the way up to the festival gate.
