Paaspop festival organisers have announced the following new acts: The Kyteman Orchestra, Di-Rect, Rival Sons, Drop The Lime, DJ Lucien Foort & The Devil's Blood!

Tickets go on sale Saturday 28th January be sure to get yours quick as they won't hang around very long!

HISTORY

Paaspop Zieuwent is a pop festival that around Easter is held in the village Achterhoekse Zieuwent. Fully supported by the work of volunteers presents the foundation Paaspop-Zieuwent a varied program each year. Proceeds from the festival are used for local initiatives

In 1978 organized youth group Young Netherlands from Zieuwent a party for her guidance, Box Schouw. This festival inspires some to a pop festival in organizing the Easter weekend. Paaspop Zieuwent is born. The first years it was a three-day festival on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Monday morning there was a coffee concert.

In the early years, the festival tent was put up next to the local gym. Because the number of visitors has greatly increased the sports moved to the background. Since 2000 the festival tents are in a field just outside the village.

Paaspop 2009 Zieuwent took place on the 11th to 13th April at the festival grounds at the Grief Horster Dijk to Zieuwent
