News - 27th January - FINAL GODS OF METAL 2012 HEADLINER ANNOUNCED!
It’s been a busy morning of announcements here are e-tainment news HQ and we can now bring you the last headliner for this year’s Gods of Metal Festival!  It’s none other than the explosive GUNS N’ ROSES!

A number of other bands have also been released across the festival – Within Temptation, Sebastian Bach, Killswitch Engage, Black Stone Cherry, Ugly Kid Joe, Unisonic, Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen, Holyhell

News- 27th June - ANOTHER HEADLINER ANNOUNCED FOR GODS OF METAL 2012
After the earlier announcement of Manowar, here is another big name that is added to the bill of the Gods Of Metal 2012: MOTLEY CRUE will headline on the 23rd June confirming that the Gods Of Metal festival has been expanded from one day to a total of four days this year!

MANOWAR return to Italy after ten years of absence to: play at Gods of Metal festival on June 21st

Joey DeMaio, MANOWAR bassist, has confirmed the rumors - MANOWAR, the Kings Of Metal, will perform at the Gods Of Metal festival as a headliner of the day June 21st

News - 29th November - MORE BANDS JOIN BLACK SABBATH AT GODS OF METAL 2012!
As announced a few days ago, organisers have revealed the first names that will perform during the long-awaited day of the Fair Arena on June 24 in Milan, where BLACK SABBATH (in the original line-up!) Will be headlining the Gods Of Metal 2012.

There are three metal bands in our beloved peninsula have never trod the stage of Italian Gods Of Metal: OPETH, LAMB OF GOD and TRIVIUM!

OPETH, the Swedish prog-metal band, will return to Italy, after the "sold out" of November 24 at the Alcatraz in Milan, during the summer. Their latest album entitled 'Heritage' has received universal approval ...

TRIVIUM, fresh new album and a "sold out" to the General Stores are the new pioneers of heavy metal that advances ... Their riffs are inspired by the great masters of the genre as Metallica, Megadeth and Testament!

LAMB OF GOD, that we saw in 2009 opened the show by Metallica in Milan and Rome, will release new album "Resolution" on Roadrunner / Warner on January 24 next year. It will be a killer show and exasperated: even fucking metal!

News - 25th November - REFORMED BLACK SABBATH TO HEADLINE GODS OF METAL!
The only Italian date of the reunion of BLACK SABBATH is to be held on June 24th at MILAN - Arena Fiera Milano (Rho). The original line-up of BLACK SABBATH - Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass) and Bill Ward (drums) - will headline Gods Of Metal 2012.

Great news about the tickets: you will have the limited opportunity to attend the concert under the stage!!!

HISTORY

Gods of Metal was born long time ago, in 1997 and during the years it became more and more important, and now is one of the most important event for all the metal heads in Europe.

The past editions of the most important Italian metal festival has had a lots of different locations, from Milan to Bologna, and it always has had a bill with high-sounding names, often even better than the best European festivals.
