HISTORY

Since 1997, the Festival de Nimes invests in the month of July the sumptuous surroundings of Arenes de Nimes for an appointment for new music. A non-exclusive programming style, from PJ Harvey, Placebo, Black Desire, Ben Harper, David Bowie (single date), The Cure, Compay Segundo, Depeche Mode, Rammstein, Metallica and many others. This festival is a highlight of the summer, as those that generate large summer gatherings

Les Arenes de Nimes each year attract thousands of visitors, fascinated by the quality of preservation of the site. Historic monument, the Arena of Nimes are, by their architectural function even a theater and games.
