MEGADETH have been announced as the first headlining band for the new Metal festival Copenhell!
Copenhagen finally gets an outdoor metal festival, a festival with 16 bands on 2 stages, but also a festival that grows metal culture outside the box.
Copenhell held at Refshaleøen which will be furnished raw and brutal in the industrial environment only a few kilometers from downtown.
The program will consist of both established heavy names who have helped shape the genre, as it is today and less contemporary bands that show the scene in 2010 and the first completely new names from home and abroad showing the future trends.

WHERE IS COPENHELL?
Copenhell held at Refshaleøen which will be furnished raw and brutal in the industrial environment only a few kilometers from downtown.
The music will play from 2 scenes, one main outdoor stage and a tent scene. In addition customers will be able to enjoy themselves in various activities and side shows, and there will of course be ample opportunity for buying food and drink to go the distance with in 2 days in hell!
Transportation to Copenhell can occur both on land and at sea. There currently plannedvarious opportunities for self and public transport, and bus tours from throughout the country in collaboration with www.livescenen.dk
