News - 29th November - FIRST ACT NAMED FOR DOUR FESTIVAL 2012!
Organisers have announced the return of the legendary American industrial metal group MINISTRY!

Having played twice before at the festival - in 1996 and 1999 - the group fronted by Al Jourgensen will once again be in Belgium for an exclusive date on Friday 13th July.

Founded in Chicago in 1981, these forebears of the industrial music scene have had a notable influence on the current crop of musicians in this field - from Marilyn Manson to Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails to Punish Yourself. After their first steps and various side projects on the Wax Trax Records imprint, Ministry experienced notable success with the label Sire Records (Warner) when they released the album The Land Of Rape And Honey in 1988. The group went down in history, taking a job-lot of scandal, drugs, and incredible performances with them.

In 1991, Ministry were at their peak. 'Jesus Built My Hot Rod' became their biggest success, and the concept album 'Psalm 69' rapidly went platinum. After a few sobering years and a series of less convincing projects, Ministry finally reunited on the stage during the noughties. 'Uncle Al' created his own label, 13th Planet Records, in 2005, and this has been the home for several projects - including Ministry's new albums and DVDs.
