For the thirtieth time, Cactus festival is stirring your senses with tasty sounds from all over the world. Cactus festival embraces world music in its broadest possible sense: no cheap exotics, but a most beautiful globalisation, tearing down the walls between different genres, continents and people!
Cactus festival remains a man-sized festival, offering an easygoing atmosphere and no heartbreaking dilemmas: there's only one stage so visitors can enjoy every minute of the full-sized concerts, from A to Z. Offstage too, a lot is happening and of course there is plenty of opportunity to fortify the inner man or woman.
The fairytale-like Minnewaterpark is once again the place where renowned musicians and musical innovators will be confronted with a broad-minded audience. This edition will feature exclusive festival performances from a.o. Iron and Wine, KT Tunstall, Mark Lanegan & Isobell Campbell, Triggerfinger, Lyle Lovett, Kate Nash, Mogwai, Fanfarlo and Janelle Monáe.
